SUN, SEA AND IPAD ART
On my recent travels to Central and South America and the Caribbean I explored new media for drawing. These are some of my sketches using an Apple Pencil and Ipad.

COMMISSION FOR BOURNEMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL
I was recently asked by Bournemouth Borough Council to draw an artist's impression of the new 'super' beach huts in Southbourne which will appear in leaflets about the new scheme.
The Camino de Santiago de Compostela- an Artist's Path
I will be exhibiting my new painting 'Underwater Treasures' at a group show at the Artworks on Poole Quay. I have been exploring different media in my painting recently; this piece was created using various enamel and gloss paints as well as spray paint. I look forward to seeing you at the private view on Friday 27th March.
I am delighted to have my paintings exhibited at the new Linda Joyce Studio which was inaugurated last week by Tobias Ellwood MP.
The year has started with two painting commissions in Miami.
For one of them, I drew inspiration from my hometown of Bournemouth and painted the pier. This is a new technique I have developed as I used acrylic paint for the structure of the pier but then mixed various gloss and metallic paints for the sky and sea to give greater texture and fluidity to the artwork. I also made sure the colours complemented the interior decor.
For the second painting I created a map of the world in acrylic paint followed by gloss and silver paint to denote the sea
